Commuters on this route say that the passengers were in dire straits due to the suspension of DEMU trains on the Chattogram-Dohazari route. Finally, their suffering has eased as the train movement is normal.
It is known that this train used to come and go on this route of South Chattogram four times a day.
In addition, a furnace oil wagon train for Dohazari Picking Power Plant plies on this route. The fault of the train has not yet been rectified due to lack of engineers.
The DEMU train was closed since last September 10. Finally, the train movement on this route has been normal since Monday, September 19.
On this route of South Chittagong, the DEMU train carries passengers four times every morning and evening.
