Delhi clears Telangana bill

The Union cabinet on Friday gave its nod to the Telangana bill, said official sources. The approval came after in two-hour long meeting held at the PM’s 7 Race Course Road residence.
According to Times Now, a special meeting of the Union Cabinet was called to discuss the bill. Now, the Telangana bill will go to Parliament after it was rejected by the Andhra Pradesh assembly.
The current bill envisages Hyderabad as joint capital for Telangana and Seemandhra for the first 10
years after bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh. The governor will control the law and order of Telangana.
Speaking to CNN-IBN television channel, Andhra Pradesh chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy said that he is ready to be sacked by the Congress for united Andhra Pradesh.
