After a break of five years, popular TV actress and model Deepa Khandakar returned to anchoring. Anchoring Nagorik TV’s cooking related show Rannar Expert, she has returned to this arena. While talking in this regard Deepa said, “During the break time I got many offers to anchor the show. Due to mismatch of my schedules, viewers did not watch me on the screen to host any show. I have liked Nagorik TV’s proposal and arrangements. For this reason, I agreed to anchor the show. First episode of the show has already been telecasted and I have been getting positive response from all for anchoring the show. I believe next episodes will be made more cordially and
I will get more response from the viewers. In fact, I always feel comfortable in acting.
I like acting most because I am heart and soul an actress. But sometimes I have to perform as model in TV commercials and also anchor TV shows. Rannar Expert is that type of show. I am enjoying a lot to anchor the show.” Deepa Khandakar also said that she has already finished shooting of a TVC and a documentary. She talks about the rights of the domestic workers in the TVC sponsored by Oxfam. Deepa also worked in a documentary for BTV where what should be the diets of elderly people are to be shown. Ahad has made the TVC, while Ramim has made the documentary. In fact, Deepa is very much excited and delighted to perform in these two works. She said, “One work is for the
elderly people while another was for the domestic workers. I believe as an actress, I
cordially took part in these two works from my own responsibility. I am really delighted to be part of these two works.”
