Now-a-days, popular model and actress Deepa Khondokar performed a TV commercial of powder mixture for cooking is being aired in different satellite channels where a dialogue titled Aamar sathey chalaki cholbe na has become popular among all. This TVC brought her into limelight. It was directed by Roni.
Deepa has already finished shooting of Akram Khan directed serial Housewives. A magazine titled Housewife hosted by her has already been finished to telecast recently. Therefore, she also acted in a new serial titled Golpo Sheshey Ghumer Deshey. Directed by Chaity Priya this serial is being aired on Duronto TV now. It is her only acted serial.
Meanwhile, based on a true story Deepa also acted in a play titled Bariye Dao Tomar Haat under Joyonto Rozario. She has to face a lot of suffering during its shooting. While talking in this regard Deepa told this correspondent, “I am getting huge response to work in the new TVC. Specially that dialogue which I uttered became popular among the viewers. I also enjoyed acting in disability related Joyonto Rozario directed new serial. Story of the serial is based on true story so I have to give more efforts in this regard. It has become a good work. I believe viewers will enjoy the serial.”
In this play, with Deepa National Film Award winner actor Shatabdi Wadud acted in an important role. Though she has been acting in small screen for long time Deepa yet not worked in the big screen. But she was seen to act in Abu Sayeed’s inspirational movie Mishti Kotha. Actor Shahed Ali is husband of Deepa.
