An unidentified decomposed floating dead body of a young woman was recovered by the police of Morrelganj PS from a canal in the village Gobindapur within Banagram Union under Morrelganj Upazila in Bagerhat district on Thursday night.
In the following morning (Friday) the dead body was sent to Bagerhat Sadar Hospital under police escort for its autopsy. Ekramul Haq, SI of the PS told, being informed of the matter through the local people police recovered the dead body. The age of the woman may be 15 to 20 years. The dead body was in wearing with a gins pant and a Kumiz (lady’s shirt).
