Chattogram Customs authority in a decision finalised to give delivery of 37 imported consignments including food grains, scraps, cotton etc from port shed of the Chattagram Port beside the ICD Depot.
Following the request of the Chattagong Chamber of Commerce & Industry recently, customs decided to give delivery of these 37 items of consignment from offfdock.
In this connection, customs authority informed the matter to CCCI President Mahbubul Alam in letter yesterday.
To accelerate the delivery of the imported consignsments , CCCI requested for giving delivery simultaneously from port shed and offdock ICD, a release of CCCI said.
