Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique has said debate competitions show the ways of finding the truth to build an intelligence and logic-based society.
“By giving logics defending or opposing a proposal, we can find out the truth that helps us make a decision perceiving the reality,” a DU press release quoted Arefin Siddique as he saying as chief guest at the concluding ceremony of the ’12th Nafiya Gazi Inter-Department Debate Competition’ on DU campus on Friday.
The VC urged the students to acquire knowledge remaining firm on truth and logic.
