Israeli forces continue the series of airstrikes in the besieged Gaza Strip. At least 67 Palestinians, including 17 children and six women, have been killed in these continuous attacks carrying since Monday. Six Israelis, including a child, were killed in a rocket attack by the military wing Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, targeting Israel. One of them is an Israeli soldier. Besides, 100 people were injured in the Hamas attack. The Israeli military says Gaza has fired about “1,500 rockets” into various parts of the country.
Al Jazeera reports that Israelis have attacked the Al-Nur Mosque in Israel’s Arab-majority city of Lod. The Israeli government has declared a state of emergency there. One-third of the 77,000 people in the city of Lod are Palestinians.
Russia has called for an “immediate end to all repression” in Palestine. China has called on both countries to refrain from any loss of life or property.
