The RAB arrested death row convict, Chandan Kumar Roy, 43, the main coordinator of the murder of former MP of Sunderganj, Gaibandha, Manjurul Islam Liton.
The former MP was killed due to political disputes, expansion of dominance and centering Abdul Quader Khan’s ambition of being re-elected as MP.
Chandan Kumar Roy was arrested from Bhomra in Satkira on Sunday.
Commander Khandaker Al-Moin, director of the agency’s law and media wing, confirmed it in a press conference at RAB’s media centre in Karwan Bazar in the capital on Monday (September 12).
