LGRD and Cooperatives Minister Khandakar Mosharraf Hossain on Friday expressed deep shock at the death of Laxmipur Zila Parishad Chairman Shamsul Islam.
In a condolence message, the minister said the country has lost a patriotic political leader. The veteran politician made a valuable contribution to the district Awami League politics, he added.
Shamsul would ever be remembered through his works, Mosharraf said.
The minister prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveying deep sympathy to the bereaved family members.
