Environment, Forest and Climate Change Minister Md Shahab Uddin expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Barlekha Upazila Awami League General Secretary Anwar Uddin.
In a condolence message, Shahab said “The death of Anwar Uddin, a staunch follower of the ideology of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, is an irreparable loss to the upazila Awami League.”
He prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed profound sympathy to the bereaved family.
Anwar breathed his last on Saturday at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University Hospital in the capital.
