Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader on Monday expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Amena Begum, grandmother of Deputy Press Secretary (DPS) to the PM Ashraful Alam Khokan.
In a condolence message, he prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed sympathy to the bereaved family. Amena Begum passed away on Monday morning at her Gazipur residence at the age of 105.
