General Secretary of the Jatiya Press Club (JPC) Farida Yeasmin on Saturday expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Abdul Latif Miah, father-in-law of President of JPC and Acting Editor of daily
Jugantor Saiful Alam.
In a condolence message, she prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed profound sympathy to the bereaved family. Abdul Latif Miah died of old age complications early morning of Saturday at his house located at Palgiri under Kachua upazila in Chandpur district. He was 93. Latif Miah left behind one son and a daughter.
