State Minister for Youth and Sports Biren Sikder on Thursday expressed deep shock at the death of Kalpana Chatterjee, mother of Nirmol Chatterjee, Vice-President of Awami Swechchhasebok League.
In a message of condolence, he prayed for salvation of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family members.
Kalpana Chattarjee died at a city hospital on Thursday night. She left behind two sons, two daughters and a host of relatives and well wishers to mourn her death.
