Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor (VC) Professor Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique on Saturday expressed profound shock at the death of country’s noted columnist A Z M Abdul Ali.
In a message of condolence, recalling Ali’s contribution in upholding the ideology of country’s liberation war in his writing, Arefin Siddique said he was a progressive minded civil society member in spite of being a civil servant.
He also prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family members.
