The 28th death anniversary of Mazeda Begum, wife of founder of Dainik Ittefaq Tofazzal Hossain Manik Mia and also former Chairperson of Board of Directors of Ittefaq Group of Publications Limited, was observed on Friday.
All the family members, relatives and well wishers of Mazeda Begum remembered her in a respectful manner.
They prayed to Allah for the salvation of her departed soul.
They said that Mazeda Begum was a good woman and a favourite personality to all. She was a philanthropist.
Meanwhile, different programmes were held marking the occasion. Of them, Quran Khwani and Milad Mahfil were held at the mazar of the deceased at Azimpur graveyard in the morning.
