Today is the 6th death anniversary of Begum Fawzia Samad, wife of late M. A. Samad, the renowned insurance legend and the founder of Bangladesh General Insurance Co. Ltd.
Late Fawzia Samad was a talented lady who devoted her whole life to the cause of the women-folk of the country serving in different capacities which include Presidentship of Dhaka Ladies Club for long 38 years and even till her death.
