The seventh death anniversary of Golapi Sarkar, wife of late Mukundalal Sarkar, a leader of the anti- British movement, will be observed today.
On the occasion, a special prayer will be held in the city’s Dhanmondi residence of her second son columnist Manindranath Sarker.
Her sons senior journalist Ajit Kumar Sarkar and Subash Chandra Sarkar, Manager of M R Engineering have requested all to pray for the salvation of the departed soul of their mother.
