Tomorrow is the fifth death anniversary of Phani Bhusan Choudhury. He was a freedom fighter, Member of Bangladesh Public Service Commission, Police Coordinator of the Home Ministry and Secretary of Jute and Textiles Ministry.
On the occasion religious functions will be held at his own house of Chhatak at Kalibari of greater Sylhet and at Shri Shri Loknath Brahmachari Ashram, Baradi, Sonargaon of Narayanganj.
All the relatives and admirers of the deceased are requested to attend the programmes and pray for the salvation of the departed soul.
It may be mentioned that Phani died of blood cancer on March 26, 2016 at Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
