The 31st death anniversary of Bazlur Rahman Lasker, a valiant freedom fighter and former Vice-President of Dhaka City unit of Awami League will be observed today.
Bazlur Rahman Lasker was one of the contributors of the national flag of Bangladesh. He donated the cloth of flag from his Apollo cloth store at New Market, a press release said.
He is the father of Prof Shamia Parvin Lasker, General Secretary of Bangladesh Bioethics Society.
