The eighth death anniversary of Golapi Sarkar, wife of late Mukundalal Sarkar, a leader of the anti-British movement, will be observed today.
On the occasion, a special prayer will be held in the city’s Rayer Bazar residence of her third son Subash Chandra Sarker, Manager of M R Engineering.

Manindranath Sarker and younger son senior journalist Ajit Kumar Sarkar have requested all to pray for the salvation of the departed soul of their beloved mother.
