Today is the 14th death anniversary of Dr. Nirafat Anam who was the pioneer of education movement for the hearing-impaired and also for the disabled people in the country. She was a notable resource person in the filed of education and disability in Bangladesh. Dr. Anam was holding the position of the Assistant Professor in the Department of Special Education, Institute of Education Research (IER), University of Dhaka.
