Deal with Iran is bad for Israel but good for the world peace

THE great thing about the nuclear deal with Iran is that President Obama’s boldness made it happen and he deserves special credit for getting together the world leaders including those of Russia and China for negotiating the historical agreement. The world powers have reached the landmark deal with Iran on Tuesday limiting its nuclear activities in return for lifting the crippling economic sanctions.
US President Barack Obama has welcomed the deal saying it has “cut off every pathway to a nuclear weapon” for Iran while his Iranian counterpart President Hassan Rouhani said it has opened “new chapter” in Iran’s relations with the world.
The racist country known for its vicious acts of terrorism against Muslims, Israel has every reason to feel its usefulness to America and its position to blackmail America have been diminished. To create a chasm of distrust between America and the Muslim countries was Israel’s sole foreign policy objective. We find ignoring Israel’s all desperate moves to obstruct Iran and the West reaching this agreement is more significant for creating a peaceful world. We want to have full confidence that the leadership in Iran will value this aspect of the development much more than its nuclear ambition. Isolating Israel is the best thing that could happen not only for Iran but for all the Muslim countries. Now the World will know what a vicious country Israel has become under the leadership of Prime Minister Netanyahu.
The accord has given guarantee to the six big powers — USA, UK, France, Russia, China and Germany that Iran will not run nuclear programme to make bombs. In exchange it will get recognition of its nuclear capability for peaceful purpose, besides lifting of crippling sanctions holding back Iran’s progress.
The draft agreement would be voted by UN Security Council to end Iran sanction in a week. Moreover, to make the fate of the accord safe President Obama has warned he would veto any opposition to ratify the deal by Republican led US Congress.
We agree with President Obama when he said the deal would make the world “safer and more secure”. But something has to be done to keep Israel sensible as a nuclear power. Israel proved insanely irresponsible in its relationship with Palestinians and Iran. It threatened to attacking Iran if America does not to destroy Iran’s nuclear facilities.
The Iran nuclear deal has become a reality that began with efforts in 2006 to scale back Tehran’s nuclear activities. Both sides agreed on a framework agreement in May this year and sat again early this month to finalize the deal. The 17 days marathon negotiations in Vienna often ran through entire nights. But they did not abandon the hope. US Secretary of State John Kerry said world powers have achieved their targets and to Iranian Foreign Minister Zavid Jarif it is a win-win deal as Tehran is focusing on its economic aspects. Only the enemies of peace were disappointed. We hope that the deal will be implemented by both sides faithfully and seriously. The involvement of world leaders give us all the hope that the conspirators will fail.
