Drug trader’ killed in gunfight

UNB, Chuadanga :A suspected drug trader was killed in a reported gunfight with police at Ukto village in Sadar upazila early Saturday.The deceased was identified as Ruhul Amin, 48, son of late Mofiz Uddin, resident of Sadar Municipal area and also accused in 16 drug related cases.Being tipped off that a consignment of drug would be smuggledthrough the village, a patrol team of police took position at a bamboo orchard, said Abu Zihad Fakhrul Alam Khan, officer-in-charge of Sadar Police...
