Delta Brac Housing Finance Corporation Limited (DBHFCL), a housing finance institution, was presented with the ICMAB Best Corporate Award 2014 under the Non Bank Financial Institution (NBFI) category as recognition for its excellence in business. Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith handed over the award to the Head of Finance of DBHFCL Syed Aminul Islam recently at a colorful ceremony held at Sonargaon Hotel in the city.
The Institute of Cost and Management Account of Bangladesh (ICMAB) organized the function which was attended by representatives of trade bodies, government and semi-government organizations, bank, Insurance and NBFIs.
Operating in a highly competitive market, DBH has shown consistent growth in housing loan portfolio and profit. Since inception to date, DBHFCL has already disbursed over Tk. 55,500.00 million to over 30,500 households with a non performing loan of less than 0.50 percent.
