Dutch-Bangla Bank Ltd (DBBL) named as the title sponsor of the upcoming three-match ODI and Two-match Test series between Bangladesh and England starting on Friday.
Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) on Wednesday announced the series name “Rocket Bangladesh-England Cricket Series’ at a pre-series press conference at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium (SBNCS).
After the announcement of the title sponsor’s name the ODI and Test series trophies were unveiled on the occasion.
Impress Matra Consortium (IMC) Managing Director Faridur Reza Sagor and DBBL managing director Kazi Shason Tabrez were present on the occasion.
However, IMC was awarded the title sponsorship and in-stadia sponsorship rights for a period of two years started from September 01, 2016 to August 31, 2018. IMC has sold the rights to all the Bangladesh home series to DBBL for the next two years that will effective on October 5.
Bangladesh will play the English ODI side in the first two ODIs of the day-night series at SBNCS on October 7 and 9. The 3rd ODI is scheduled to be held at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong (ZACS) on October 12.
The 1st Test of the two-match series starting at ZACS on October 20 while the 2nd Test on October 28 at SBNCS.
