Day-long Women’s Cycling Competition held

The Day-long Invitational Women’s Cycling Competition was held at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Saturday.
State Minister for Finance and Planning MA Mannan, MP inaugurated the meet as the chief guest while Deputy-Secretary General of Bangladesh Olympic Association Ashiqur Rahman Miku was with him as the special guest.
Eti Khondker of Dinajpur District team emerged the champion of the individual event with two gold medals while Pratima Roy and Rima Khatun of Dinajpur District team became joint runners-up of the individual event with one gold medal and one silver medal.
Dinajpur District team emerged the champions of the team event bagging five gold medals, four silver medals and two bronze medals while Panchagarh District team finished runners-up earning one gold medal, one silver medal and one bronze medal.
After the competition President of Bangladesh Cycling Federation and Vice-President of Bangladesh Olympic Association Md Mizanur Rahman Minu distributed the prizes among the winners as the chief guest while General Secretary of Bangladesh Athletics Federation Md Ibrahim Changish was present with him as the special guest.
