A youth was found dead with his throat slit in his rented room in Janata Market building at Kotwali of Chittagong city early on Monday.
Md Nazim, 23, son of Md Younus of Satkania, was a day labourer.
Being informed by one of his friends, victim’s elder brother Selim, informed Kotwali Police about the murder.
Police suspect that Nazim’s friends might have killed him over some dispute.
