Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Saturday predicted that light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind may occur at different parts of the country within 24 hours as of 9 am today.
Day and night temperature may rise slightly over the country, it said.
“Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Rajshahi, Rangpur, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions,” the met office said in a 24 hours weather forecast commencing at 9 am today.
The highest temperature on Friday was recorded 35.9 degrees Celsius at
Sylhet in Sylhet division and Saturday’s minimum temperature was 24.1 degrees Celsius at Sitakunda in Chattogram.
