February 22 is the 77th birthday of noted lyricist, film producer, director and story-writer Gazi Mazharul Anwar. To celebrate the day, Gazi Mazharul Anwar’s daughter popular singer Dithi Anwar is going to present a new song to dedicate her father. Dithi has rendered Gazi Mazharul Anwar-written his first play-back song titled Akasher Haatey Achhey Ek Rash Nil in new way. Promising singer and music composer Yousuf Ahmed Khan has re-arranged music of the song.
While talking in this regard Dithi Anwar said, “In fact, Abbu’s birthday is special to me. For this reason, I planned to present his written a song on his birthday. From that thinking I have rendered the song. My favourite younger brother Yousuf Ahmed Khan has co-operated me in this regard. I have rendered the song by own way to keep respect to late Anjuman Aunty. I believe listeners will enjoy the song.”
Gazi Mazharul Anwar said, “Dithi has tried to render a song by her own way. She also tried to keep her originality while rendering the song. I believe music-lovers will like the song.”
Yousuf Ahmed Khan shared his feelings by this way, “It is really a great luck to re-arrange a legendary song. I surely give thanks to Dithi Apa and Gazi Sir in this regard. The song will be released on his YouTube channel, Y-Bits tonight.”
It is mentioned that the song rendered by late Anjuman Ara Begum in late Subhash Dutta-directed movie Ayna O Oboshisto in 1958. Composed by Sottyo Saha Gazi Mazharul Anwar wrote lyrics of the song.
