Aymarsulpur Union Land Office of Panchbibi Upazila of Joypurhat has been stolen. The incident took place at some point on Sunday night.
Union Land Assistant Officer Bilkich Ara Begum said that as there was no night guard in the office and it was far from the locality, the organized thieves broke the lock of collapsible gare and the office and stole 3 fans and some necessary documents. The local caretaker of the office came to sweep in the morning and found that there was no fan with a broken lock at the office gate and papers were scattered.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md Barman Hossain, Assistant Commissioner (Land) MM Ashiq Reza, UP Chairman Zahidul Alam Benu, Sub-Inspector of Police Saiful Islam and Mizanur Rahman visited the spot on Monday morning.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Panchbibi Police Station Munsur Rahman confirmed the incident and said Union Land Assistant Officer Bilkich Ara Begum had lodged a written complaint with the police station.
