State Minister for Youth and Sports Dr Biren Sikdar on Monday condoled the death of Jagmohan Dalmiya, the president of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
In a condolence message, he expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Dalmiya and recalled the invaluable contribution of Dalmiya to the development of cricket across the globe.
The state minister prayed for salvation of the departed soul and conveyed profound sympathy to the bereaved family.
