Department of Textile Engineering of Daffodil International University and its Textile Club namely DIUTC jointly organized Daffodil Textile Reunion 2015 recently at DIU Ashulia Campus. DIU Vice Chancellor Prof Dr M Lutfar Rahman was present on the occasion as the chief guest while Engr Abdur Rashid, General Manager, Lusaka Garments was present as special guest.
Presided over by Prof Dr SM Mahbub-Ul Haque Majumder, Dean, Faculty of Science and Technology, the function was also addressed by Prof Dr Engr AKM Fazlul Haque, Registrar, Prof Dr M Shamsul Alam, Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Abdullah Al Mamun, Assistant Professor, Department of Textile Engineering and Convener of the Daffodil Textile Reunion 2015. The day-long program included Bus Rally, Games and Sports, Fun Events and Raffle Draw, Picnic and musical soiree. Around 1200 passing out graduates of Textile Engineering department attended the reunion program.
