Dacca Dyeing earnings drop 68pc in Q3

The Dacca Dyeing and Manufacturing Company Limited has posted a 68 per cent drop in its earnings for the third quarter (January-March) of the year 2021-2022.
Its earnings per share (EPS) drop to Tk 0.06 in the January-March period from Tk 0.19 recorded in the same period a year ago, the company said in a filing with the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) on Sunday.
Its net operating cash flow per share (NOCFPS) was Tk 1.34 from July 2021-March 2022. It was Tk 1.18 during the same period of the previous fiscal year.
The net asset value (NAV) of the company per share was Tk 35.28 as of March 31 this year, and Tk 34.47 as of June 30 last year.
During the third quarter, the company has also informed that significant profit has decreased in the Q3 period ended March 31, 2022, compared to the Q3 period ended March 31, 2021, due to massive repair and maintenance work have done during the Q3 period in 2021-2022.
Dacca Dyeing ‘s share price drop 4.84 per cent to Tk 17.70 on the DSE, in the first one hours into the trade on Sunday.
The price moved between Tk 12.20 and Tk 29.50 throughout last year.
