The General Secretary of Pro-BNP Doctors Association of Bangladesh (DAB) Samiul Alam Sohan was hacked by some unidentified miscreants at Doel Chattar in the capital city on Wednesday. DAB leader Samiul Alam Sohan, 45, also Medical Officer of Burn and Plastic Surgery Unit of Dhaka Medical College and Hospital(DMCH), came under attack on his way to the hospital. Samiul said when he was going to DMCH riding a motorbike, two miscreants appeared there and hacked him from behind, leaving him injured.
Local people rushed him to the hospital.
DMCH Burn Unit Director Dr Abul Kalam said, “The wound was at least 10 inch deep, a surgery was done on him, now he is out of danger.”
