Czech Ambassador to Bangladesh Miloslav Stasek on Thursday called on Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Rashed Khan Menon at secretariat here.
During the meeting, they discussed on different bilateral issues and mutual interest related to civil aviation and tourism sectors.
The minister described various progress and potential of civil aviation and tourism sector of the country and informed the envoy that Bangladesh became an immense potential country for investment due to the government’s investment friendly liberal policies.
“The Czech government and entrepreneurs can invest in potential sectors of Bangladesh by taking the investment friendly opportunities that is presently prevailing in the country,” he said.
Menon expressed his hope that the existing excellent friendly relation between Bangladesh and Czech Republic will further be strengthened in the days to come.
The Czech ambassador lauded the recent development pace of Bangladesh and informed the Minister that his country has been manufacturing different aircraft including the cargo carrier.
