Chattogram Bureau :
Senior secretary of Local Govt Ministry Md. Helaluddin Ahmed has given reminder to Chattogram WASA to increase pure water production by 42 crores liters from existing 36 cr liters for resolving the demands of water of the city dwellers.
He urged the CWASA authority at a meeting of views exchanging with the CWASA management at Letters Conference Hall in the Port City. The meeting also discussed the ongoing activities of different water projects of CWASA. Chief Engineer of CWASA Maksud Alam presented development activities of CWASA during last one decade through multimedia projections.
Besides, Managing Director of CWASA Engr. AKM Fazlullah presented before the meeting on present and future project activities and sought cooperations of the concerned ministry for implementing the projects.
Secretary Md. Helaluddin expressed satisfactions over the allout activities of the WASA authority. He also emphasized the need of pure drinking water supply, easing of bllling system through automation, replacement of old supply lines. Deputy Managing Director of CWASA Golam Hossain conducted the meet duly attended by all senior officials in it.
