The National Board of Revenue (NBR) has decided to keep open the customs houses on September 9, 10 and 11, ahead of Eid-ul-Azha to facilitate export and import activities of readymade garments.
“Customs houses in Dhaka, Chittagong, Mongla, Pangaon and Benapole will remain open to provide services to the country’s main export sector readymade garments,” the NBR said in a media release.
Customs Bond Commissionerates in Dhaka and Chittagong, as well as Inland Container Depot at Kamlapur, will also remain open from September 9 to September 11to provide services to exporters.
