The curtain-raiser of Bangladesh Youth Games will be held today. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will formally inaugurate the gala extravaganza at 7.00 pm at the Bangabandhu National Stadium as the chief guest.
A total of 21 disciplines will be held in the
seven-day long mega meet.
It may be mentioned that the football competition of the Games has been started from Wednesday last.
Different items will be taken place in the almost two-hour long opening ceremony. They are: DJ Show, documentary films, mascot parade, dances, songs, physical exercises, different shows about the past, present and future of Bangladesh will be performed by the artistes in the opening show.
The inaugural ceremony will come to an end through the eye-catching laser show and fire-works.
