To celebrate the birth centenary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and 50 years of Independence of Bangladesh, Audit and Accounts Department (AAD) of Bangladesh organised a spectacular cultural programme at Roads and Highways Bhaban auditorium on December 29. Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) of Bangladesh Mohammad Muslim Chowdhury presided over the programme, while Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Haque was present as the chief guest on the occasion.
Renowned artists along with members of the AAD enthralled the audience with their performances on the stage. Former CAG Masud Ahmed, as well as Addl Secretary and Member of BCS (Audit and Accounts) Dewan Sayeedul Hasan rendered songs and also recited poems respectively. Popular singers Shuvro Deb, Anupoma Mukti and Hyder Husyn also rendered songs. Noted singer Debolina Sur enthralled audience rendering songs of yesteryears. Prominent dance troupe, Spandan choreographed by Anil mesmerised the audience.
