Communications Minister Obaidul Quader said, ‘we need to build bridge not wall among the politicians, journalist, university teachers and others’. The minister was speaking as chief guest at a seminar titled ‘Technology of 21st century in the field of journalism: Bangladesh perspective’ organized by Chittagong University Journalist Association (CUJA) at the Theatre Institute, Chittagong on Thursday.
Chittagong University Vice Chancellor Anuwarul Azim Arif was present as inaugurator and Pro-VC Dr Iftekhar Islam Chowdury was present as special guest. CUJA President Humayun Masud, CU Correspondent of Daily Suprovat presided over the function.
Among others, the ATN News Output editor Pronob Shaha, media personality and Assistant Professor of Communication and Journalism Department, Rajib Mir and Chittagong University Teachers Association (CUTA) President Benu Kumar Dey, Bhobita Barua, Editor of Dainik Muktobani were present as speaker at the program.
Shahab Uddin, assistant professor of Communication and Journalism Department, presented a paper with power point presentation title on ‘technology of 21st century in journalism on Bangladesh perspective’.
