Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) became champion again in the programming competition. The Computer Science and Engineering Department of CUET arranged the three-day long technology fair at CUET.
National Progra-mming Competition was the part of the fair. The team CUET 1984 won the champion trophy at the competition in 2017. Of the total 12 problems, the team solved eight problems and won the champion trophy. The CUET Panthom Team won the second prize while Comilla University the third prize at the competition. Vice-chancellor of CUET Prof Dr Rafiqul Alam handed over the prizes among the winners as chief guest at the prize distributing function. It may be mentioned that a total of 120 students from different universities participated at the programming competition.
