The central mail server of Chittagong University of Engineering Techno-logy (CUET) has been connected with Google, the world’s largest search engine, recently.
Vice Chancellor of CUET Professor Dr Mohammad Rafiqul Alam inaugurated the function on Tuesday. Professor Dr Mohammad Rafiqul Alam said this initiative will help expand digital platform of CUET. Students and CUET family will be benefited from this.
Director of IICT Dr Asaduzzaman said CUET Server will operate ‘G-Suit for Education’ of Google. It will help the CUET family serve official e-mail. Former server of CUET was backdated and risk of spam. It will serve unlimited user and space for CUET family.
Among others, Acting Registrar of CUET Professor Dr Faruque-Uz-Zaman Chowdhury, Direc-tor of Information and Communication Techno-logy Institute Professor Dr Asaduzzaman and Asso-ciate Director of IICT Dr Md Rubayet Tanvir Hossain also present in the function.
