Chittagong University (CU) goes into a 26-day vacation from today on the occasion of Monsoon, ,Jummatul Bida, Shabba Qader and Eid-ul-Fitr.
All classes will remain closed from May 27 to June 21 and resume on 24 June as 22-23 is Friday and Saturday said CU acting Register AKM Nur Ahmed. Pre-schedule examinations will be held during the vacation and all academic activities will continue till June 12 though no administrative activities will be held on 3-7 June as offices will be gone on Monsoon vacation. He also said.
However, the students’ dormitories will remain open for the students during the vacation said Professor Dr Sultan Ahmed, Convener of the university provost committee.
While talking about the train operation on the vacation days, CU assistant proctor Liton Mitra said Train will follow regular schedule on the office days and will remain closed for the rest of the days.
Meanwhile, the students of the university have already started for home to celebrate Eid ul Fitr with their near and dear ones.
