Muhammad Noor Hossain, Assistant Professor o of Arabic Department of Chittagong University has been awarded Ph. D degree for his thesis titled “Studying Islam in English by the 20th Century’s Orientalists” under the supervision of Dr A. S. M. Abdul Mannan Chawdhury, professor of the same dept. of Chittagong University .
The award was approved by the cu syndicate on 17th December, 2018. The researcher Muhammad Noor Hossain obtained M. Phil Degree in 2009 from mentioned university. He gained scholarship of cu for both Ph. D and M. Phil research. It is mentionable that he was 1st class 1st as well as three faculty 1st in M. A, 1st class 2nd in B.A. (Hons) and got merit position in all exams of Madrasha Board.
