The probe committee, formed to investigate allegations of making derogatory remarks about the prime minister against two teachers of Chittagong University, has issued a letter seeking explanation from one of them.
The three-member committee issued the letter to Khandakar Ali Ar Raji, an assistant professor of journalism department, on Thursday. Signed by committee’s member secretary Md Hasan Mia, the letter sought an explanation from him regarding his Facebook posts within August 7.
A group of BCL men alleged that Raji also tried to create anarchy on the campus through his Facebook posts.
They submitted a memorandum to the vice-chancellor in this regard and also declared him “unwelcome” on the campus.
Contacted, Khandakar Ali Ar Raji said he would reply within the stipulated time.
