It had been drizzling since morning. The evergreen campus was pin drop silence. At that moment, a number of students were seen at the train station of Chittagong University (CU).
Among them, some were enjoying splashing colored water, some were throwing color powder towards their friends, some were dancing.
Many were seen capturing the moment on camera and some were seen busy with taking selfie.
The thrilling day was greatly celebrated with factitive mood and with the enthusiastic participation of 22nd batch students along with all other students of Law Department of Chittagong University to preserve the day at their campus.
To mark the day, the students of 22nd batch of law department held a day long colorful program with rally, cultural program and lunch party. On the day however all students of Law department brought out a colorful rally at 10 am from the train station of CU. After parading the whole campus ,they went to law faculty premises where the program wasformally inaugurated by Prof ABM Abu Noman ,dean and former chairman of Law faculty, Prof Jafer Ullah Talukder, Shaheen Chowdhury ,Associate Professor Nirmul Kumar Shah, Sefatsharmin ,Abdullah Al Mamun,and Assistant Professor Farzana Yesmin through cutting a cake.
After the inauguration, the student of different years enjoyed the colorful water slapping that made the black pitchy road of law faculty colorful in different color. Afterward junior students of the department arranged flash mob dedicating outgoing students .There was no shortage of decoration in the faculty.
Around 1.30 pm students went for launch. After having launch many were seen capturing the moment in cameras and some were seen capturing selfie with friends ,senior ,juniors and outgoing students.
After that, a cultural program was also held where famous music band Bag of Bangle performed. Besides the students of the faculty ,other students of different faculties gathered at the cultural programme.
However ,some were seen skipping their tears after embracing with their 5-year long friends ,some were seen pouring tears behind the smiling face as they have to leave the evergreen campus ,shuttle train, friends, teachers ,juniors, varsity staffs where they had passed colorful five years.
Masud , an outgoing student said;” the tears come light when feeling that I have leave to green campus. But it’s a rule,I have to obey it”.
Another student of theoutgoing batchTasmia also added that the campus gives us everything. It is a matter of sorrow that we have leave our friends, beloved and also our respected teachers. I will definitely miss every single memory.
