The Chittagong University authorities introduced a “Bangabandhu Chair” to conduct extensive research on the life and activities of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
The decision was passed unanimously at Sunday’s syndicate meeting, said CU acting Registrar Prof Kamrul Huda.
“The authorities also launched a fellowship on Bangabandhu’s life and activities for PhD and MPhil pursuers”, said syndicate member Masum Ahmed.
The registrar said the university authorities will look after the chair while the in-charge of the chair will supervise the overall research and activities of researchers.
