The University of Chittagong is going on a month-long vacation from October 2 (Sunday) on the occasion of the Durga Puja, autumn, the holy Ashura and the admission test. CU deputy registrar (information) Forhad Hossain confirmed it to this correspondent.
The academic activities will remain halt since October 2 to October 31, and the administrative activities would be run usually. He also said, the academic activities would remain closed from October 2-13 on the occasion of the Durga Puja and was decided to be postponed to shun any unavoidable situation during the admission test.
