CU Correspondent :
The annulled admission test of C-3 unit of Chittagong University for the first year honors courses under 2016-17 academic year was held yesterday.
Assistant proctor Helal Uddin told the correspondent that the admission test was held with peaceful environment, where a total of 5,758 application seekers appeared in the examination.
The shuttle train operation became normal as the agitating Chhatra League activists didn’t create any blockade as they posted it after the furtive death of their leader Diyaz Irfan Chowdhury.
The result of the test would be aired on Saturday, said admission committee secretary deputy register SM Akbar Hossain.
Earlier, Chittagong University authority cancelled the C-3 unit admission test, held on October 31after an inquiry body comprising of two members including Assistant Proctor Helal Uddin, found technical problems in the question papers.
The answers of all the hundred questions were traced in the question papers and the student wings including the general students demanded the further examination after cancellation of the result. After submission of the probe findings CU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Iftekhar Uddin Chowdhury dismissed the test and announced the fresh schedule for holding the examination. Mentionable, in the admission test one student got 119 marks from 120 marks.
